2011 Porsche Cayman R

The new car is 55 kg lighter (over 120 lbs.) and is powered by a mid-mounted 3.4-litre six-cylinder boxer engine that makes 10 more horsepower (up to 330) than the Cayman S. The responsive part is delivered courtesy of a specially adapted sports chassis for an even more precise driving experience.

Weight savings were realized through the use of lightweight materials and doing without some of the comfort and convenience equipment found in many of today’s luxury cars. For example, the 19-inch wheel set on the Cayman R weighs a combined 40 kg (about 88 lbs.) or 10 kg per rim. An optional lithium ion battery reduces weight further. Also of note, interior door handles were removed in favour of ribbon door pulls.

2011 : Porsche Boxster S Black Edition

Protótipo 918 Spyder da Porsche faz 24,4 km/l (Fotos e Vídeo).

A Porsche esta apresentando em Genebra o supercarro conceitual 918 Spyder que tem o jeitão de nervoso mas promete ser verde.

Ele utiliza um motor V8 de 500 cv combinados com outros três elétricos capazes de desenvolver 217 cavalos adicionais.

Ele Conta ainda com quatro modos de funcionamento: puramente elétrico que permite circular 25 km sem gastar uma gota de combustível, dois modos híbridos ("normal" e "sport"), e um modo para máximo desempenho dinâmico, incluindo uma função «boost» elétrico com um extra de potência sempre que se necessita de mais potencia.

Deixando um pouco de lado a economia o 918 Spyder vai de 0-100 km/h em apenas 3,2 segundos chegando a velocidade máxima de 320 km/h.

Revelado Novo Porsche Cayenne Fotos e Vídeo

A Porsche apresentou a segunda geração do Cayenne. O modelo mais vendido da Porsche recebeu novo visual, interior com novos equipamentos e uma versão híbrida, sua apresentação oficial será no Salão de Genebra.

As versões apresentadas foram o Cayenne Turbo e o Cayenne S Hybrid. No visual externo ele esta mais agressivo, com aberturas mais largas, novos faróis e as entradas de ar mais abaixo no spoiler dianteiro. Na traseira, as lanternas se estendem até a lateral da carroceria e traz novo aerofólio.

No interior, o volante passa a ser herdado dos carros mais esportivos da marca, com comandos de áudio, de trocas de marchas manuais e do piloto automático. No centro do console há ainda uma tela de LCD que reúne as funções do GPS, computador de bordo e do rádio MP3 Player.

Ele vem com motor 3.6 V6 com 300 cv. A diesel continuam com o motor 3.0 V6 de 240 cv S traz o motor 4.8 V8 de 400 cv, o mesmo da versão Turbo porem este tem 500 cv.

O motor V8 também vem no S Hybrid que substitui o modelo GTS, porém associado a um motor auxiliar que gera 375 cv e consomem em média 12 km/l.
